A spring oat variety selected by UC Davis. Very tall with excellent straw strength; lodging only occurs in highly productive environments. Perfect for fall planting along the valley and coast of Central California with either grain or forage production. Excellent yield and shatter resistance help contribute to a higher crude protein percentage. Moderately resistant to BYD, stem rust, crown rust, and powdery mildew.
