UC 148 is a spring oat released by the University of California, Davis in 2007. A tall, moderately late maturing oat with good straw strength and only occasional lodging. Test weight is very good at 38 lb/bushel, translating to an exceptional yield. This variety is also resistant to crown rust. An excellent choice for a reliable crop.
